International Speech
Comrades, international solidarity has always been a core tenant of the struggle for National Liberation and Socialism in Ireland. Acting on this doctrine through the international department of the Republican Socialist Movement we strive to build and maintain relationships with like minded organisations throughout the world who are engaged in the fight against oppression and injustice.
This Easter we would like to take time to send solidarity to the people of Palestine who are enduring horrific acts of genocide perpetrated by the Zionist Regime. We support the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves in the face of such Occupational Aggression.
We support their right to resist the expansionist tactics of the Zionist regime which strives to push Palestinians from their native land. We reject those who pay lip service to Palestines struggle for National Liberation by celebrating in the White House with those who advocate Zionism or those who align themselves with the collaborators in the Palestinian Authority.
We send our revolutionary support to the people of Donbas and Luhansk who have bore the brunt of Western sponsored slaughter perpetrated by the Banderite Regime in Kyiv. For over 10 years the people of these Republics have resisted the erosion of their culture and language in the face of Ukrainian fascism. We support their defiance against NATO expansionism through the use of Fascist proxies.
We stand in solidarity with all those who resist imperialism, oppression, and injustice around the world. From the shores of Ireland to the far reaches of distant lands, the struggle against imperialism is one that binds us together, transcending borders and uniting us in a common cause.
In the Irish Republican Socialist Tradition, we understand the pain and suffering that imperialism inflicts upon peoples and nations. We have felt its heavy hand upon our own soil, as our people have endured centuries of occupation, exploitation, and colonization. But we have also shown the world that resistance is not futile, that the spirit of freedom and justice can never be extinguished.
Today, we extend our hand in solidarity to all those who are engaged in the struggle against imperialism. Whether you are fighting against foreign occupation, economic exploitation, or cultural domination, know that you are not alone. From Palestine to Donbass, from Latin America to Africa, we stand with you in your fight for self-determination and liberation.
We recognize that imperialism takes many forms, whether it manifests as military intervention, economic coercion, or cultural imperialism. But regardless of its guise, imperialism always seeks to divide and conquer, to exploit and oppress. And it is only through solidarity and unity that we can hope to overcome it.
In the face of imperialist aggression, we must stand together as brothers and sisters, united in our determination to build a better world. We must reject the politics of division and embrace the politics of solidarity, recognizing that our struggles are interconnected and that our fates are intertwined.
We as a movement will continue to offer our support to all movements striving for National Liberation in the face of Military Alliances propped up by Imperialists and their financial backers. As the Neo-Liberal agenda attempts to further strangulate society as a whole we must stand side by side with such movements and our comrades within them to show that they have our solidarity no matter how violent imperialism manifests itself.
