This week in Cork and Limerick, as the winter starts to bite the IRSP in the south-west of the country delivered vouchers, clothes and toy donations to local charities.

During this difficult time for many, the run-up to Christmas is putting extra pressure on needy families and those living without secure access to shelter. All clothes, toys and vouchers were donated by local working class people to help others in need. Even in these demanding times, that we all find ourselves in, this selfless spirit and consideration for others, is a unique attribute and a credit, to the working class people of our island.

The IRSP is continuing with these initiatives around the country, helping where and when we can in our working class communities – fostering a spirit of solidarity over the Christmas period where the working class rallies to its own aid, and encouraging self-sufficient community empowerment.
