IRSP in Newry Will Oppose Eviction Threats on Families

In recent days, The IRSP in Newry have been dealing with a number of housing issues.

In one case, a young mother was being threatened with eviction over the festive period.

Damien McShane of the IRSP in Newry has said, “This will not happen. The IRSP will oppose those who attempt to put women and children onto the streets. Landlords cannot legally terminate tenancy agreements without giving 12 weeks notice.”
