IRSP Show Solidarity with Republican Prisoners

The IRSP took to the streets yesterday in Belfast in the form of a whiteline picket in solidarity with the Republican prisoners currently engaged on a 2 week hunger strike across Ireland.

Speaking after the event, IRSP activist and former Republican Socialist Prisoner Willie Gallagher called for the implementation of the August 2010 Agreement to avoid these ongoing conflicts within the gaol.

The IRSP know first hand the heartache and suffering involved in Hunger Strikes having lost 3 of our comrades in 1981.
