The IRSP & INLA had well over 100 prisoners directly affected and involved in the anti-H block campaign from 1976-81.
In that period, our members along with their IRA comrades experienced degradation and torture while on the outside our members who were organisers of the campaign were assassinated by the British government.
This horrific period ended with us loosing 3 of our members on Hunger Strike in 1981 along with their 7 IRA comrades.
We welcome today’s report by the Independent Panel of Enquiry that validates these claims.
Our thoughts are with those affected and their families who are still with us, and also those that are not with us. The men and women of the H-Blocks and Armagh will never be forgotten.
