To highlight the human rights abuses Irish political prisoner Michael Campbell is suffering in Lithuania the IRSP will be holding a White-Line protest outside Costello House on the Falls Rd in Belfast on Saturday 17th of August at 12noon to 1pm.
Gerard Foster of the IRSP continues “We are holding a White-line protest on the 17th of August to play our small part in raising awareness around Michael Campbell’s plight. As a political prisoner Michael should not be held in such primitive conditions in Lithuania. The IRSP hope that all Irish Republicans, Socialists and progressives get behind the Repatriate Michael Campbell Campaign as our collective lack of action on this man’s horrific case so far has been nothing short of an embarrassment.”
