Upwards of 50 IRSP members and supporters held a white-line picket on the busy Falls Road in West Belfast today in support of the ongoing protest by Irish Republican prisoners at Maghaberry Prison. Members of the Irish Republican Socialist Party’s women’s group held placards specifically demanding the immediate release of veteran Republican activist, Marian Price, who has been interned without trial and been held in isolation for almost a year. Hundreds of passing motorists sounded their horns in support of today’s picket which lasted for over an hour.
