The Irish Republican Socialist Party was represented at the Cuban International May Day celebrations and at a series of conferences involving international delegates.
The IRSP delegation was led by senior Republican Socialist Peadar Dubh from Belfast who proved an excellent ambassador for the IRSP in Cuba. The Starry Plough flag and the IRSP red party flag were prominent in the May Day parade and during the international delegate conferences.
The IRSP looks forward to increased friendship with our Cuban comrades who like the Irish people, are an island nation who have suffered incredibly from the impact of Imperialism and it’s by-products, not least aggression and economic deprivation.
